I couldn't resist making an earflap hat for babies and kids... 

 

The Earflap Hat features the Crocodile Stitch and an intermediate crocheter or even a dedicated beginner will master this stitch in no time at all. This is a fun to work piece that will impress without stress.

 

--Pattern also includes directions for Flower embellishment.

 

--The pattern includes a PHOTO TUTORIAL with many pictures showing the pattern in more details.

 

You will need:

 

Sport weight or Baby weight yarn (about 250 - 350 yds, depending on size) in color of your preference.

Small amounts of baby weight yarn in 2 contrast colors for flower embellishment.

Crochet hooks in Size G (4.25 mm).
