Good Intentions Wrap, Crochet Pattern (PDF)

This wrap is worked on a two row stitch pattern that produces a faux-hairpin crochet look without the need of extra tools like looms or rulers. All you need is your regular yarn and hook. I rate this project as intermediate.

The only stitches you will need to be familiar with are:

Chain (ch)
Slip Stitch (sl st)
Single Crochet (sc)
Puff Stitch (PF)

Why “Good Intentions”?

This wrap is dedicated to Rachel Akney, a crocheter and customer, whom I admire for her impeccable principles and honesty.  Copyright law is one of those very touchy subjects for those trying to make a career of designing. Mostly we just hope that the written text of our patterns will be honored, and not copied, re-transmitted and re-distributed.

One day Rachel sent me an inquiry: “How can I re-pay you for the patterns I already purchased, so I can print copies of them for my grandmother?” I had to read her message several times, because I really could not believe how truly honest she was! She was not even printing a copy for a friend, but for her own grandmother! Rachel, your “Good Intentions” and honesty inspired me to design a wrap that is light and ethereal, like your soul.
